Fun Dinosaur Games For Kids Birthday Party

We have a good selection of dinosaur games for kids. This is a great choice for a cool birthday party for either a boy or girl.

* Dinosaur Egg Stomp

First you'll need white balloons and rubber bands. Blow up enough balloons for all the kids to have two balloons. Maybe a few extra incase some burst before the game starts. Tie rubber bands on each balloon. Have your kids to wear socks and then slip the rubber bands over their ankles. The object of the game is to have the kids stomp the dinosaur eggs until they burst. The last kid with an egg left is the winner!

Some of these dinosaur games for kids can be played indoors or out.

* Dinosaur Egg Hunt

Buy a bag of plastic eggs (the ones you buy for Easter). Find or buy some Dinosaur Sticker Sheets (4) and decorate your eggs. Hide the eggs. Make up some clues that you can read to the kids that relate to where the eggs are hidden. Have points for different colored eggs. The one with the most points win the prize. You can also place prizes inside the eggs so everyone gets a prize!

* Dinosaur Hunt

You can use a kids small plastic pool or a sandbox. Fill up your pool or sandbox with sand. Buy some dinosaur figurines and hide them in the sand. Set a timer for 1 minute, whoever finds the most dinosaurs is the winner and gets a small prize like a Dinosaur Yo-Yo (1)

* Dinosaur Egg Relay Games

You'll need two chairs or two places where the kids can sit on a hard surface for this version of dinosaur games for kids. A blown up dinosaur egg (balloon with stickers) for each kid. Always have extras on hand. Start the game by dividing the kids into two teams. One team will stand behind one chair and the other team the other chair. When you say GO one person from each team will run to the opposite teams chair, sit on their own balloon and bust it. Once they bust it they will run back and touch someone on their team. That kid will do the same. Continue until one team has burst all their balloons. That team is the winner!

* Hot Dinosaur Games

You'll need a Foam Dinosaur Activity Kit or a dinosaur figurine. If you don't have that use a small water balloon or plastic Easter egg with dinosaur stickers. Have extra water balloons on hand. Make a CD with stops in it (no music). Start the game by starting the music. Whoever ends up with the Hot Dinosaur when the music stops is out or keep them in and tell them they have to say something nice about the birthday person!

* Dinosaur Relay

You'll need eggs or hard boiled eggs or plastic eggs with stickers and a spoon. Make two lines in the yard, one to start and a finish line. Start the game by giving each kid a spoon with an egg in it. Have the kids to place the spoon in their mouths and try to get to the finish line without dropping the egg. Walk don't Run!

* Dinosaur Toss

You'll need a big piece of cardboard and dark green spray paint.Draw a dinosaur and cut it out. Make a hole in his mouth. Make the hole big enough to toss your plastic dinosaur eggs (with stickers) in. Prop the dinosaur up on something. Each kid gets 5 tries, whoever gets the most wins!

* Don't Squeeze The Dinosaur Egg

You'll need balloons with dinosaur stickers of course. Blow up enough balloons for 1/2 the amount of kids, plus a couple extra.Pair the kids up in teams ( try to match by same or closest height). Have a start and finish line. Each of the teams will place a balloon in between them (stomach height) and try to walk sideways to the finish line "Without" using their hands or dropping the balloon. The winners will cross the finish line!
